Natali dolls are filled with polyester fiberfill

Polyester is the most commonly used filling in dolls because it is lightweight and doesn't promote the growth of bacteria.

It is a synthetic fiber derived from coal, air, water and petroleum. Extremely light weight which makes it suitable for children’s toys and especially great for baby toys which you want to be very light.

Fiberfill stuffing is fiber that has been combed and fluffed to form a soft ball, kind of like a ball of cotton. It is usually made from polyester and other recycled materials. Fiberfill stuffing is inexpensive to make, and its insulating and filler properties make it ideal for different projects and purposes.

Polyester absorbs less than one percent of moisture by weight, offers good dimensional stability under a variety of conditions, and has unique filling properties. Polyester is also easy to dry clean and, most importantly, it is recyclable.

Its low absorbency also makes it naturally resistant to stains, and it is not damaged by mildew. Textured polyester fibers are an effective, non-allergenic insulator, so the material can be used for filling pillows, quilting, outerwear, sleeping bags, and of course dolls and toys.

Polyester fills are typically less expensive to produce than down and feather or microfiber fills, making them practical and cost efficient.

Polyester fills are hypoallergenic and are ideal for products designed for allergy sensitive consumers.

When it comes to easy maintenance, polyester fills are tough to beat and easy-to-care-for.
